Chairman’s Remarks for our 60th Season updated 31 July 2020
Normally, I continue to play most of my tennis indoors at Swindon twice weekly throughout the year, being responsible for organising practices and matches for Wiltshire's Mens Seniors/Veterans teams, which have not taken place this summer. The redevelopment of Melksham House into a Sports & Social Campus by Wiltshire Council has made some progress and Melksham TC now has 2 new tarmacadam courts with floodlights, shared with public use and at present on a short-term arrangement. Iconoclasts, now with 2 Mens teams, plan to play on the clay courts at Bath University. I hope to see you all in 2021 – enjoy your tennis.
